Some highlights?

 CRUMBS & Friends
Yes, you'll see CRUMBS with DJ Hunnicutt at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival with some very special guests.

The High School Improv Super Show
The return of this favourite show. Hand selected players from the Canadian Improv Games FINALS will be assembled into a Super Team. This show will be hosted by Caitlin Curtis and Stephen Sim.

Lost in Translation, Perdu en quoi?
The French and English improv show all about miscommunication. A hit last year, sure to be a hit again. Get your tickets early for this one, the venue is small and the laughs are huge.

The Sketch Comedy Revue hosted by Kevin McDonald
A comedy festival must include sketch comedy. Here we have sketch comedy legend Kevin McDonald hosting this sketch comedy revue. The show will include Craig Lauzon (Royal Canadian Air Farce), Wes Borg (Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie), Hot Thespian Action, H.U.N.K.S., Stephen & Caity and Bucko.

But really... there are so many great shows to check out!

Thank you!

CRUMBS in 2016

CRUMBS makes up shows in the new year. The very first improv show of 2016 is always filled with prophecy and magic. Many of the story lines end up coming true.

CRUMBS does a show at the King's Head on Thursday, Jan 7th 2016. Now usually CRUMBS would perform at the King's Head on a Tuesday... but the pub isn't open on that Tuesday, so we've opted for the other day of the week that starts with a "T". We will be doing the show with DJ Hunnicutt.

A CRUMBS show that happens with the help of technology.

Of course you can also catch CRUMBS on the radio

on 101.5 UMFM every Monday at 5pm

Thank you

Summer is coming!

Summer is coming and that can mean only one thing... or several things... but mostly that the weather is going to start actually acting like summer.

It also means that Winnipeg forgets about hockey after a great a run. Winnipeg turns its sights on the arts and the culture (when we aren't escaping to the cabin and camping in the woods).

What's that? You are interested in some upcoming live shows? Okay, I'll tell you about some of them.

CRUMBS is going to be doing a strange and cool and strange experimental Skype show in Berlin. Lee will be live in Berlin and Stephen will be "live" via skype in Berlin while comfortably sitting in Winnipeg. The show will be at the Ratibortheater in Kruezberg on May 7th. It will be great, so get to Berlin.

Comedy Knights continues to offer you the FREE and GREAT comedy and improv shows at the King's Head Pub. Every single Tuesday at 9pm there is a show to enjoy.

Tue, May 5th is the next one!

Friday, April 10th
Good Will Social Club

Portage Street Live
The comedy show that is "street" and "urban" that has "street smarts" and is filled with "hardcore hilarity". This show will be "off the hook". Am I in this show? No. Will I be there? Hell yes. Oh, and my good buddy DJ Hunnicutt will be there too.

What else should you do? Go see all the rest of the shows! There will be FREE shows every day at noon somewhere in the city. There will be huge Gala shows at the Pantages Playhouse that will be made into TV specials.

There will be shows at the Park Theatre. There will be shows at the King's Head Pub.

There will be comedic theatre shows at the Gas Station Theatre (like "HA!" starring my friend Wes Borg... which just happens to be THE BEST play ever written about being a stand-up comedian).

... Now go see all the shows, buy all the tickets and laugh at all the jokes!

Thanks Dad for the typo finding.

Bizarro Comedy and Star Wars

Tuesday, April 1st (April Fool's Day)

It will be a Bizarro Comedy Show!
What is that? Well, that is where the Stand-up Comics do the improv and the Improvisers do the Stand-up comedy.

It's like if Superman was Evil!

It's like Freaky Friday but on a Tuesday... and with Comedy!

How amazing will this show be? You simply must come down to the King's Head and see the hilariousness of Bizarro.

And just when you thought that they're couldn't be more exciting show news...

Stephen Sim as Han Solo?

Toby Hughes as Luke Skywalker?

Stephen McIntyre as Obi Wan?

What does this all mean?

Well, it means that SiR (Shakespeare in the Ruins) is having a fundraiser show at it is a retelling of the original Star Wars done as Shakespeare. So very cool. You can see that at the King's Head on Thursday, March 27th at 8pm.

The only real shame is that Lee White is away on tour in Europe while this show is going on... Lee, who is probably the biggest Star Wars fan in Winnipeg. Oh well, we'll just have to tell him how amazing it was when he returns.

What else to go see upcoming?

#1
What other regular shows are out there?
Well, Wednesdays at the Cheer in Osborne Village hosted by Ben "OBC" Walker. You can also be a part of a new night happening on Thursdays at the Times Changed on Main Street hosted by Chantal Marostica. More? Are there more shows? Probably.

#2
The CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival
This wonderful festival is coming up in April and that means that Winnipeg becomes the funniest place on Earth for one week. There will be some amazing comedy converging in this city and you all need to be a part of it. There will also be some improv happening, Mark Meerfrom the Irrelevant Show on CBC radio will be doing some improv and YOU simply MUST experience the BRILLIANCE of this show.
