CRUMBS

CRUMBS first show in France! It is the French world premiere! We are in Lyon, France and we are trying to channel the energy of Jerry Lewis to make sure they like us.

And even though we channeled the energy of Jerry Lewis there was still only 11 people in the audience, this is a new record for a CRUMBS show on our Euro Touro! We haven't had an audience that small since our “just starting out” days, when we were “paying our dues”. I guess we still have some left over dues to pay in France.

-World War 2, France, invading Germans, two French soldiers trick a German soldier into deserting.


-A princess, a warrior and an evil king. A fairy tale


-I cannot for the life of me remember the last story... I bet you it was the best one.


While there were not a lot of people at our mixed show with En Compagnie we did go to their show the night before and it was packed. And we did hang out with them and jam a bit before the show. They were really fun and really funny people. It was really like we traveled to Lyon to hang out with them and not really to do a show. It was also really nice to be somewhere that I actually understood most of what was being said around me (Thank you Mom & Dad for forcing me to learn French when I was in school). I felt like it wouldn't take me long to scrub all the rust off the french I do have.

You already know the show is free, you already know the show is the hottest and best comedy show in Winnipeg, you already know that it rotates between CRUMBS + Comedy Loser + CRUMBS & Friends + ShitZ N GiggleZ... But did you know that the show on Dec 29th is our Holiday Special? And did you know that it will feature all of the shows that rotate and will feature an improv set at the end that will feature all your favourite folks... Well you do now.

The next CRUMBS show

The Next CRUMBS show is Tuesday January 20th with Outside Joke as part of the FREE LAUGHS series of Comedy shows happening at the King's Head every Tuesday night.

The show will be starting at around 9pm and will feature the amazing improv of CRUMBS and Outside Joke and the musical stylings of DJ Hunnicutt. Yes, the show should start at 9pm though the shows always seem to be starting later and later. Why is it that people hear that the show will start at 9pm and then think that it would be okay to leave their house at 9pm and stroll in at 9:30 or later? Is it just the Winnipeg mentality? Do Winnipeggers not understand that a start time means the time something starts? Or is it because shows now wait for the audience to show up, meaning that audiences are then showing up later and later as to not be the "suckers" waiting for everyone else to show up?

There are no easy answers, but let me tell you, if you show up before 9pm you are ensured a good seat, and you are ensured to understand the beginning of the show because we are starting as close to 9pm as we can.
